KISSIN' IN THE CARWASH
(Sean Mencher)
THE BARNSHAKERS (Goofin', 1994)

Last Tuesday night, after sundown
My gal and I was riding 'cross town
I noticed the gas gage was really low
So I turned right down to the Texaco
Pumped in gallons, stopped of the tank
Payed the cashier 50 cents from the bank
The cashier asked me if I care for a wash
Free with fill-up, drive-through-carwash
I answered, yes please! What a deal
I got back in behind the wheel
Started my engine, rolled up the window
And tuned rock 'n' roll on the radio
We drove right back to the entrance door
And eased on to that carwash floor
So the suds started spraying, brushes began brushing
I glanced at my gal and she was blushing
So I leaned over and pulled her near
She whispered softly in my ear
We started kissin' in the carwash
Huggin' in the carwash
Kissin' in the carwash, listening to the radio

So the suds stopped spraying, brushes finished brushing
A neon sign flashed: "Wash Complete"
We drove slowly out to the exit door
And rolled next to the street bew
She said with a wink, let's wash it once more
We drove back 'round through the carwash door
We were kissin' in the carwash
Huggin' in the carwash
Kissin' in the carwash, listening to the radio
You know we werekissin' in the carwash
Huggin' in the carwash
Kissin' in the carwash, listening to the radio
